Rare Steeple chase trophy,Silver Award. South Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club."Viruts Omnia Vincit" Sterling Silver Trophy. Ladies Cup 1878 Won by T S Baker. "Steeple Chase". 1 and one half miles. Time: 9m 42s Stamped on the bottom, "Warranted Sterling Silver B Peterson & Co." Sterling Silver Award Cup. Measures 6 and one half inches high. This silver trophy measures 4 and one quarter inches across at the brim. This horse trophy weighs 989 and one half grams.The Club was formed in 1871, being the oldest Club in NZ and the second amateur athletics club to be formed in the world. An eighty page booklet on the Clubs history was compiled for the Clubs 125th Jubilee Anniversary in February 1997.

Gorham Sterling Silver Racing Trophy September 24 1910. This sterling silver automobile race trophy weighs 912 grams. This Gorham silver trophy measures 12 and one half inches wide from handle to handle and stands 12 inches tall. The top is 7 and three quarter inches in diameter and the base measures 6 and one quarter inches in diameter. Inscribed is Second Annual Herald Sociability Run, Saturday, September 24, 1910. The other side reads, Dr. A.T. Lawless.

Antique German silver Fiat racing trophy circa 1899. This "Fiat" car racing trophy dates from 1899 and was made from solid 800 German silver. This antique car memorabilia silver trophy measures 5 and one half inches long and 3 and one quarter inches high. This piece was given to Felice Nazarro, a very famous race driver and friend of Enzo Ferrari. It was a gift of the Fiat Car Co. and given in roughly 1910. It was purchased directly from Nazarro's daugher several years ago. The Fiat Car Co. was founded in 1899. Very few of these silver pieces were comissioned, and given to important people such as Nazarro as he successfully raced Fiats in the 1908 Circuit di Bologna against his friend, Enzo Ferrari. This piece was not given in 1899, but commemorates the start of the company in 1899. Just in from a very important vintage automobile memorabilia collection.

This antique sterling silver fish server is by William Kingdon, circa 1816 to 1817 and measures 12 and one half inches long overall and 2 and three quarter inches at the widest point and this antique fish server weighs 265 grams. The fish fork is by an untraced maker, London, circa 1885 to 1886. This antique silver fish fork measures 9 and one half inches long and is 2 and one eighths inches at the widest point. This antique sterling fish fork weighs 183 and one half grams.
